Good and beautiful. Well done.
Hi do you use a chiller for this beautiful scape/setup? If yes, may i know the details (brand, model, temperature, and how u fite condensation)
Shallow tank are special ❤.
Yes, bro. I really love the shallow tanks. :)
Interesting that colorful plants are great at first but in the long run green plants only or almost only is more satisfying ,calm and natural.
Yes, buddy. It's all about finding what the planted tank speaks to you! 😊 Some really like to have colourful striking impression, some like to have a calming and relaxing one. It's the beauty of this hobby! ^_^
@@LitiAquaria Exactly. I do have Rotala and a Lily i thought died over a year ago. It popped up looking healthy. Both are sort of a tan color. The rest of the 240 are green slow growers over the last seven years, but they got there-lol.
Beautiful tank man. I was wondering what settings you have your chihiros wrgb2 slim at? I have it on one of your stands over a 45U and it’s around the same height as it would be on the light stand it comes with. I’m running 70-55-65 and having a brutal algae battle with filamentous and diatoms. I’m unsure if I’m running my light too high or not. I’m running co2 30ppm and apt 3 ferts the tank has been set up for only 4 weeks.
Thanks, buddy. My usual light settings are at full power, with the Red-Green-Blue ratio around 100-70/80-80/90%. One great advantage of Chihiros lighting is its strong intensity. When setting up a new tank, I typically run the lights for only 6 hours per day initially. After the first 2-3 weeks, I gradually increase the duration by 15-minute increments each week until I reach a maximum of 8 hours per day. This helps plants adapt to environmental changes and minimizes algae outbreaks. That said, as you can see, algae took over my tank after I traveled for a week without water changes. Frequent water changes are crucial for newly established tanks. At the start, I also avoid adding fish because I want to blast CO2 into the tank for plant growth. For filamentous algae, manual removal works best-just keep removing it regularly. Hardscape algae can be wiped off using H2O2 or cleaned manually. Once the tank stabilizes, I usually introduce algae eaters like Amano shrimp, nerite snails, otocinclus catfish, and SAE, which are great helpers. Don't stress about algae in a new tank! When in doubt, a good water change can work wonders. Maintaining a consistent cleaning routine is key to keeping algae at bay. Keep on scaping!
@ thanks!!! I look forward to trying out more of your products. I have one more question if it’s okay. What fertilizer routine do you use
The liquid fertilizer dosing regime for my tank is very lean. I only dose sparingly once in a while. Having said that, the substrate is always rich in nutrients as I got base substrate / slow released ferts there. :)
Beautiful
Thanks so much! 😊
I love discus ❤
The fish is beautiful, Lorenzo. But it's quite challenging to keep them in a planted tank. :D
@@LitiAquaria I know it's very difficult but with the right plants it's not impossible 😉.
@@lorenzospina3174 Yes, bro. It's not impossible. I was very impressed with one of the discus planted tank from Mr Amano in the past. That's the inspiration! :)
what is the name of the long grass like plant (the one not reaching the water surface?
That's Vallisneria nana 🥰
A real jungle ❤.
Many thanks, Lorenzo! Enjoy, bro! :)
Not a bad video, but the loud annoying Muzak was off-putting, and the type was too small, especially when you had white out against a white background. Don't forget your trying to sell your hobby , Not a Piece of Music. Best regards.
Thank you for your feedback, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I'll definitely take your points into consideration-especially about the music volume and text readability. Your suggestions will help me improve my future videos, as my goal is to make them enjoyable and inspiring for everyone who loves this hobby. Thanks again for watching, and I hope you'll stay tuned for more content! 😊 Best regards.
I wasn't trying to be over critical, I just want you to do well with your channel, as I think you have a talent, and who knows where that may lead to. 👍 Best wishes Simon.
Thanks Simon :)
Yooo, do you mind sharing how much rocks and soil you used?
I reused the substrate, it was about 3x9L bags I guess. Rocks may be about 15kg or more of lava rocks.
Thank you Jacky san
Thanks bro Clement! Happy New Year to you and your family! <3
More of this beautiful video's please ❤ Greatings from Holland
Hello from Singapore! 😊 Thank you, buddy. Surely, I hope we can bring more fish shop tours to the channel 😁
“i always struggle with seiryu rocks” same here and the best that suits me is dragon rock bc they seem to do so good in scapes
Dragon rock is good and so much interesting patterns! I always admire those who can scape well with Seiryu rocks type ^^
Love this style of shop your, thanks for sharing!
I am glad to hear that. Thanks buddy. The shop is small but mighty and very cozy! :D
Amazing aquarium shop ❤.
It really is! 😁 It's great that we shall have some bucket list of fish shops to go when we are traveling. 😊
Thanks for sharing
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 🥰
Thanks for sharing 😊
😊🫰
Amazing
Yessss, indeed! :)
❤
😊🫰
Очень красиво
Many thanks, my friend! :)
Nice video! Excited for this years :)
Thanks Ryo! Yeah, let's work on the next contest tank! 😊
They look great, but no aquarium light does them any justice. You probably know how sublime they look in sunlight from a low sun in early morning or late afternoon, with the aquarium lights off. Liquid iridescent golden fish with turquoise and orangy yellowy bluish greenish hues. Amazing, and possibly no technology can capture it.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, I bet the fish always look the best in nature. 😊
bộ in out đẹp quá
Cảm ơn bạn nhé ^^
8:32 RIP Gourami...
No worries, buddy. He was just hiding there. :D
BEAUTIFUL
I appreciate it! 😊
good job buddy :)))
Thanks bro 🥰
Absolutely stunning tank. Did the light change at the end? And could I ask what light was used?
Thanks buddy. Yes, during the contest, we used the lights provided by the organizer: WeekAqua M series. That's a really nice light with a rich colour rendering. During the time the tank setup at home, I changed from Chihiros WRGB2 Slim to Chihiros RGB Vivid 2 Mini. 😊
❤😊🎉
😊😍
Hardwork Patience absolutely paid off... It's Gorgeous
Thanks, it's always a rewarding process! 😊
final trimming session part - sorry but the track you chose for this part made my ears bleed....
Oh noo... 😂 I will choose more soothing melodies next time. 😊
Great to see some other small nano contest tanks and what you can do in a small space!
I agree! Small tanks can be so beautiful and fun to create! 😊🤗
Hi, I just built my first aquascape, and it's been running for a month now, but I noticed that there is no algae at all from the start. Not even small algae like diatomes on the rocks. I only use rocks as my hardscape, and I also put some fish like neon tetras and rummy nose tetras along with a few red cherry shrimps. I also placed my aquascape near window and gets a direct sunlight every day. Any theory that can explain this? thanks
It is interesting that you didn't get any algae even with direct sunlight! I'm sure you'll enjoy the pristine tank! Regular maintenance would surely help to keep the tank in a good clean condition. Congratulations on your achievement! 😊👍
Wow! Which is the slow release fertilizer? Thanks
Wow, that turned out absolutely stunning!!
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰🥳
lol, where is monte carlo and other plants you placed at the beginning. you asked a pro to makeover xD.
Haha, yeah, I know right? Good eye! The algae covered it all over and I siphoned and removed it all out. 😆
wow
Thanks buddy! ^^
Beautiful well done. 👏
Thank you very much!! <3
I'm chilling 😌☕️🎶🎵
Thank you, brother! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family! <3
finally new content
Haha, thanks buddy! <3 Hope you enjoy the process! ^^
So beautiful.
Thank you very much! ^^
Good 🫠
Thanks buddy! 🥰
Awesome work 🎉
Many thanks for your compliment! ^_^
Nail clippers work amazingly well for clipping zip ties right at the edge of the zipper so they don't stick out :) Beautiful aquarium.
Thank you for the tip! I'll definitely try that.
Inspiring journey !!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the process! 😊
Love the black felt cloth tip, definitely stealing it 🤭 Awesome build video as always :)
Haha! I’m glad you liked it. Thank you so much, Gru! 🥰👍
Another masterpiece ❤.
Thank you, Lorenzo! 🥰
Hi there, the arm for hanging the Chihiros is from ADA, right?
Hi there, that's our in-house product. You can find it here: litiaquaria.com/products/desk-mount-lighting-stand
@LitiAquaria I notice that you are located in Singapore. These hanging kits seem to be handcrafted by you as I understand, they are very nice to look at and well priced. Let me also applaud for your photographic skills.👍
